As a Music Director and Curator for this concert series (up to 20 monthly dates in the heart of Vienna), I am responsible for repertoire, artists, musical overview, and artistic coordination, as well as performing on guitar in a voice-guitar-cello formation and writing arrangements.
Jerica Steklasa (voice), Ronen Nissan (arrangements and guitar) and Rodrigo Samano (Cello) present a wonderful selection of Viennese classical songs, operetta hits as well as well-known film music. Live recording, part of the Wiener Ensemble concert series at Vienna’s Mozarthaus.
Viktor Ullmann (1898 - 1944) was a Czech composer, pianist and music critic of Jewish origins, whose mentors included Sch├Ânberg and Zemlinsky. While interned by the Nazis in Theresienstadt he composed, ┬áamong other works, his last piano sonata, which he dedicated to his own three children.
